Filter Media: C & S Coal ES=1.9-2.1 mm UC=1.3 max 1850 mm deep

Silica Sand ES=0.6-0.8 mm UC=1.3 max 150 mm deep

 

This plant serves the whole of the Macarthur area, a rapidly growing area in Sydney's south west.

The treatment plant is part of a water supply scheme costing approximately $130 million. The first stage, commissioned in 1995, has a capacity of 265 ML/day.
